Top 10 important points described in detail, why Odisha does not develop after 75 years of Independence.

1. Employment opportunities in Odisha

As per the CMIE survey report Unemployment in Odisha is 23.8% in April 2020. Whereas Gujarat Unemployment rate is 13.6%.

The state of Gujarat has no mineral resources like Odisha, but the state is the number one Manufacturing hub of India.

In Gujarat the manufacturing hub is possible due to the mass growth of Industrialisation by the people of Gujarat and the collaboration of the Gujarat Government.

The economic survey of India 2021-22 tabled in the Parliament, that large scale of loss of jobs in Odisha in 2021 nearly 32.6%, which is the highest in India.

Unemployment has been a perennial problem in the state of Odisha for 2-3 decades due to slow economic growth in manufacturing sectors & service sectors in the state of Odisha.

Neither the Industrialist in the state of Odisha nor the Government of Odisha has taken any significant initiatives to develop the opportunities for the young  generation(educated mass) of the state of Odisha.

For this lot of young generation leave the own state and go for work for their lively hood in the state of Gujarat, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra etc.

There is 2461 industries large, Medium and small scale operating in Odisha. But, in Gujarat, there are 43721 industries large, medium and small scale factories. There are 18.35 lakhs employed in 2018.

Gujarati people never forget their Garba dance to perform in all social and community festivals at any place in the world.

But our odia people do not take such steps to give respect to their culture in Odisha neither inside the state nor outside of the state.

Please remember -Your culture is your identity.
