Introduction:
The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup. It is a quadrennial One Day International (ODI)cricket tournament contested by men’s national teams.
This tournament is organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In 2023 the tournament is being hosted by India. This tournament started on 5th October and concluded on 19th November 2023.
It is the first men’s Cricket World Cup which India is hosting solely. The tournament is taking place in ten different stadiums in ten cities across the country.
In the first semi-final match, India beat New Zealand and second semi-final Australia beat South Africa. The final match will take place
between INDIA and AUSTRALIA at Narendra Modi Stadium on 19th November 2023.
The winning team will receive US$4,000,000 in prize money.

The 1,30,000-capacity Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the biggest cricket ground in the world. The Narendra Modi Stadium, also known as Motera Stadium, is an international cricket stadium.
The stadium is owned by the Gujarat Cricket Association and serves as the venue for domestic and international cricket matches. It is one of the premier stadiums of India.
The Narendra Modi Stadium has a two-tier structure. The arena is built on 63 acres of land and has 3 entry points. It has 76 corporate boxes that can hold 25 people each. It has 55 room clubhouse an Olympic-sized swimming pool and four dressing rooms.
The Narendra Modi stadium was designed by Australia’s design firm Populous and built by Larsen and Toubro. It took 5 years to build and the estimated cost is Rs 800 Crore.

An overall USD 10 Million pot has been announced for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.
There is prize money up for grabs for winning their Group stage games as well with teams getting USD 40,000 for every victory. At the end of the Group stage, teams that fail to reach the knockout will each get USD 1,00,000.
