1. Gunung Mulu Caves National Park, Sarawalk

Gunung Mulu National Park situated in the Malaysian state of Sarawak of the Island .This park is dominated by Gunung Mulu 2376 meter high sandstone .


This park is situated at nearly 52,864 Hector Park. It contains seventeen 

Vegetation zones, exhibiting some 3500 species of vascular plants. This park is dominated by the Gunung Mulu 2378-meter sandstone pinnacle.


The Sarawak chamber is 600 meters high, 415 meters wide and 80 meters high. Gunung Mulu is the largest known cave chamber all over the world.


Gunung Mulu National Park is an area of exceptional natural beauty, with striking primary forests, karst terrain, mountains, waterfalls and the largest caves on the earth.


Deer cave 120 meters to 150 meters in diameter, is the largest cave passage in the world. The clear water cave system holds the world record as the longest cave in Asia.


There are 3500 species of plants, 1700 mosses and liverworts 4000species of fungi that have been recorded in this National park. There are 20,000 species of invertebrates, 81 species of mammals, 270 species of birds, 55 species of reptiles, 76 species of amphibians 48 species of fish.

2. Penang National Park, Teluk Bahang:-

he Penang National Park, of Malaysia, spreads about 1213 hectors of land. This area is used by scientists, researchers and nature lovers to explore 

It’s a natural resource.


 Previously known as Pantai Archer Forest Reserve. This site ireserved for 417 flora and 143 fauna species. Penang National park was declared in April 2003.


Natural attractions at Pulau Pinang Park include hi/lowland dipterocarp forest areas, sandy beach habitats, a seasonal meromicic lake and open coastal seas.


There are over 1000 species of plants recorded which are dominated by the families of Dipterocarpacaea, Leguminosae, Apocynaceae, Euphorbiaceae and Moraceae.


Among the animals spotted in and around the park are dolphins, otters, hawksbill, turtles, and monkeys.


There are 46 species of birds such as stork-billed kingfishers, white-breasted water hens, and great egrets. Other noticeable birds like white-bellied sea eagles, brahminy kites and kingfishers have been found.

3.Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Selangor:-

Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is one of the leading institutions in tropical forest research in the world. It was founded in 1929; it is fully-fledged statutory body, governed by Malaysian Forestry Research 

And Development Board (MFRDB).


It was officially declared as National Heritage on 10 th May 2012.FRIM is working towards attaining recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Malaysia’s tropical the rainforest is a treasured natural beauty of the world. To enrich human knowledge of our world, natural scientists of the British colonial government began planting trees to observe, record and study 

the ecology of tropical rainforests.


Today FRIM is home to 18 mammals, 182species of birds,57species of snakes,30species of lizards, 7 species of lizards, and 34 species of frogs are found in this area.


FRIM is a wooded terrain with a wetland ecosystem, consisting of ponds, streams, Sungai Kroh waterfall and a small lake.


FRIM is a forest research institute activity involved in the research, conservation and preservation Malaysia forestrybiodiversity, products and biotechnology.


 It aims to provide effective management and conservation of forest and natural resources to achieve win-win sustainable development. The Forest Research Institute of Malaysia is the ecotourism wonder of Malaysia.


4.Royal Belum State Park, Perak:-

The Royal Belum State Park, Perak Malaysia  stately called as the Crowning Glory of the Peninsula. It is the National Heritage site which is the highest recognition accorded by the Government of Malaysia.

 Royal Belum state park borders of the Halabala National Park in Thailand to the north, thus making the area about 300,000 hackers from the park.


The total area of the Royal Belum State Park is 117500 hackers. The state park is considered one of the oldest, protected, undisturbed and pristine 

The land mass in the Peninsular Malaysia of more than 130 million years old.


Geographically about 57% of its area is located in the range of 80-300 meters above sea level and 41% in the range of 300-1533 meters above sea level.


The Royal Belum Rainforests are accessible by boat with a valid permit and must be registered 7 days before; permit to enter must be applied through the Perak state perks corporation.

Strongly warned by the guide, photo taking at the Royal Malaysian Army checkpoint is not allowed. Royal Belem Rainforest is home to plenty of exotic plants. Among them are Rafflesia is a genus of parasitic flowering plants.


The major attractions for eco-tourists in Royal Belum Rainforest are the 

Sungai Ruok Fish Sanctuary and the Sungai Ruok waterfall deep pool.

5.Taman Negara National Park:-

Taman Negra National Park is a dwelling space of more than 15000 plant species, 675 bird species, 250 freshwater species and more. This park is 130 million years old.


It was first established as a rain forest in the year 1925 under the name of “Gunung Tahan Game Reserve. It is the first national park in Malaysia.


It has the world’s longest canopy the walkway is 530 meters long and 40 meter above the ground level. The panoramic view from the canopy is breathtaking and it almost feels like a dream.


For a trekker, Taman Negra  is one of the best places to trek. There are several locations, and Bukit Teresek is a sight to behold. The duration of the hike was around 30-45 minutes with the peak height soaring to 334 meters.


Taman Negra National Park has 675 bird species. The place is undoubtedly the best place for the bird watch peninsula Malaysia.

6.Cameron Highlands, Pahang:-

The Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, which is situated in Malaysia. It is occupying an area of 712square kilometers. The Cameron Highlands is famous for its flora as well as tea and strawberries. You will find

Tourists can find a wide variety of butterflies and snakes and the Cameron Highlands Butterfly Farm.
