New Generation Green Hydrogen cars

INTRODUCTION: -

New Generation Green Hydrogen Cars represent the future of sustainable travel. Powered by hydrogen fuel cells, they emit only water vapour, making them truly eco-friendly.

With quick refuelling, impressive range, and advanced technology, these cars aim to replace fossil fuels and combat climate change. Discover how green hydrogen vehicles are redefining mobility and leading the world toward a cleaner, greener tomorrow.

Electric Cars plug into charge points and take electricity from the grid. They store the electricity in rechargeable batteries that power an electric motor, which turns the wheels.

Electric cars are accelerating faster than vehicles with traditional fuel engines. These cars feel lighter to drive.

Green Hydrogen Cars are defined as hydrogen produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable electricity.

Green hydrogen is perfectly clean and environmentally friendly. Hydrogen cars are very good for the environment because they do not produce the same emissions as petrol or diesel vehicles. Hydrogen-powered fuel vehicles emit only water (H2O) & warm air.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF ELECTRIC CARS:-

1. Plug-in electric: - This means this car runs purely on electricity and gets all its power when it is plugged in to charge.

This type does not need petrol or diesel to run. So these cars have not produced any emissions like traditional cars.

2. Plug-in hybrid cars mainly run on electricity and have a traditional fuel engine.

So you can use petrol or diesel too if they run out of charge. When running on fuel, these cars will produce emissions, but when they run on electricity, they won’t produce any emissions.

3. Hybrid electric: - These run mainly on fuel like petrol or diesel but also have an electric battery, which is recharged through regenerative braking. These let you switch between using your fuel engine and using EV mode at the touch of a button. These cars cannot be plugged into an electricity source and rely on petrol or diesel for energy.

Currently, an electric vehicle runs about 250 miles on a charge. But Tesla electric cars run about 350 miles on a charge.

HOW LONG  DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE THE ELECTRIC CARS?

There are three EV charging points:-

 1. Slow Charging point:-This is typically rated up to 3KW. Often, it is charged overnight or at the workplace. Charging time is 8-10 hours daily.

2. Fast Charging Point:-This is typically rated 7KW to 22KW.It is installed in car parks, supermarkets, leisure centres, and houses with off-street parking. Charging time:e 3-4 hours.

3. Rapid Charging point:-It is typically rated from 43KW.Only compatible with EVs that have a rapid charging capacity time of 30-60 minutes.

First Electric Car:-

The first successful electric car made its debut around 1890 by William Morrison. A chemist who lived in Des Moines, Iowa, in the USA. The vehicle was a six-passenger wagon capable of 23km per hour.

THE FUTURE ELECTRIC CAR IN THE WORLD:-

According to the latest report by the Investment Bank UBS, by 2025, the electric car will capture 20% of the new cars sold in the market. That will leap to 40% by 2030, and in 2040, virtually every new car sold globally will be an electric car.

GREEN HYDROGEN CAR: -

Green Hydrogen is defined as the hydrogen produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable electricity.

This is a very different pathway compared to both grey and blue. A hydrogen vehicle is a type of alternative fuel vehicle that uses hydrogen fuel for motive power.

Hydrogen vehicles include hydrogen-fuelled space rockets, as well as automobiles and other vehicles.

Power is generated by converting the chemical energy of hydrogen to mechanical energy, either by reacting hydrogen with oxygen in a fuel cell or by powering electric motors by burning hydrogen in an internal combustion engine.

HOW FOUNDED THE HYDROGEN-POWERED CAR WAS FOUNDED:-

SwissengineerFrancois Isaac de Rivaz invented an internal combustion engine that used a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen as
fuel for the car.

“Maria” from from Toyota is (FuelCell Electric Vehicle) in the world and only runs on hydrogen-generated electricity.
